Captivating....

Very calm, yet slightly unsettling. Great stuff going on in the background, and the guitar was very clear and was sparse enough to add a great sound to the song. This is really, really nice stuff.

Keep it up.

WinTang responds:

Will do, thanks a lot!

Umm....

there's a real lack of interesting stuff going on here.

the beat is boring, and then changes to very clumsy and off beat.

the synths are really, really repetative.

there's no real ending, it just fades out, which isn't great.

the beggining, with the voice synth, is pretty dumb sounding added to the beat.

one good thing was the first lead synth that came in, but then that was repeated to death.

i can't say how much time went into this, but it really doesn't sound like much did at all. so try spending more time on these things.

Mr-green-apple responds:

its trance...or an attempt at it. Its supposed to take awhile to get into...even tho i understand that people like instant gratification. Techno is a lot of repetion too if you didnt know.(which im guessing you dont becuse your best rated shit is awful). This is also a work in progress if you didnt read. thx for answering my question numnuts. I also need a midi mixer.badly

great

that was really cool.

the only bad things were that it was repetitive, and that i didn't like the beggining so much. it felt like it should kinda jump right into the song, instead of that lead up. just a preference, 'cos i feel like it would suit the song more to just get going right off the back.

and loved the synths on this, some really, really cool stuff happening.

so great job.
try to make it longer, next time, especially 'cos the beggining isn't really friendly to looping.

culmor30 responds:

Yea, I was kinda thinking the beginning was too long also, I was just too lazy to fix it. D:

Anyway, thanks for the review!

Nice

I liked it, pretty catchy. The best thing was probably the way the song seemed to fit together so well, as nothing really seemed out of place to me.

So great job.

XDragonslayerX responds:

Thanks ya!

Hmmm....

you said you were going for a mysterious feel, but the song was much too strong for that. it was more of an angry nature vibe than anything.

it was also pretty short, and kinda repetitive.

but it was overall not bad, so o.k. job there.

Moonasha responds:

thanks for the input and the review ^^

heh, cool.

i don't play enough doom to know exactly how much this resembles it, but i could see this song in any action-horror type game because it certainly fits the part.

intense enough at moments, and some great anticipation moments, so it was fun to listen to.

a bit repetitive though, and it didn't seem that clear to me. could just be my speakers.

good job.

Aresdev responds:

Yeah, on my computer speakers it didn;t sound so clear, but when I played it on my stereo it sounded better. I plan on fine tuning it, that might take a while. Check out my other stuff!

cool...

seeing the title, i was a bit worried this thing would be as annoying as hell.

but it was done very nicely, and the idea itself has merit. plus, the song is pretty catchy, and the fact that its done with error noises makes that all the more impressive.

great job.

Jimmypig responds:

Cheers man, I thought of the idea when a reoccurring error box was popping up and it made a sort of tune.

well,

it was kinda boring. the beat was ok, but that was kinda all there was to it. it was also really short, from what i could tell, and sounded pretty muddy.

i didn't like it very much, but nice try.

system-overload responds:

yeah its not very good. it was slow. but i tried out 3oxc some more

ok...

i liked the melody of the piano and the beat, but like you said the song didn't really get anywhere.

still, its worth a listen or two, mostly because the piano is really good.

good job.

Sandwhich-lord responds:

tanks

i dont want to turn it into a techno song but maybe if i put in some synth it will go somewhere

Really good...

reminds me alot of the source song while still being very different and really cool sounding.

so great job at that, but sound quality sounds as though it could be much better, but I think you already have acknowledged that.

STU-PIDASO responds:

thanks alot,
and yeah, the sound quality is kinda poop.
but that is because of the file size limit out here at NG.
the fully rendered (13meg) version i have at home is much better sounding.

(and has a better drum setup)
